Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Operator – Construction Supervision (As-Built Works) to join our team!

In this role you will get to support the construction supervision team through the production, verification, and coordination of accurate as-built drawings for the Mid Island Parkway (MIP) infrastructure project.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare, update, and maintain as-built drawings based on approved shop drawings, red-line markups, site records, and survey information.
• Verify contractor-submitted as-built drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved construction records and site conditions.
• Incorporate approved field changes, variations, and Engineer’s Instructions into as-built documentation.
• Produce and update CAD drawings for major infrastructure works including roads, bridges, tunnels, marine works, and utilities.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers and site supervision teams to resolve discrepancies in drawings and construction records.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project CAD standards, authority requirements, and Parsons drafting standards.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revision control, and document control procedures.
• Support preparation of handover and close-out documentation, including final as-built submissions to the Client and authorities.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Candidate must have Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years related work experience on infrastructure construction projects, preferably in a construction supervision or PMC environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong experience in as-built production and verification for infrastructure construction projects.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, red-line markups, and survey data.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure works including roads, bridges, tunnels, marine works, and utilities.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple drawing packages under tight deadlines.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Experience on large-scale infrastructure or highway projects in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
• Previous experience in a construction supervision or PMC consultancy role.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements (DMT, ITC, and utility authorities).
• Experience supporting project handover and close-out stages.
• Strong coordination and communication skills when working with multidisciplinary teams.
