Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with conditions related to the heart and lungs.
• Perform surgeries, such as open-heart surgeries and lung transplant surgeries.
• Work with other medical professionals, including anesthesiologists and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Offer guidance and support to patients and their families on managing their conditions and post-operative care.
• Keep updated on the latest advancements in the field of cardiology and incorporate them into practice.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible care for patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in diagnostic tests and surgery techniques related to cardiology and thoracic surgery.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work long and irregular hours when necessary.
• Must be Western-trained.
