Who are we looking for?

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Card Data Analyst to collaborate with their Cards Product Team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data analysis and strategic product development, driving innovation and growth in the competitive banking industry.

Role & Responsibilities:

The Cards Data Analyst will leverage deep industry expertise to analyze customer behavior, optimize product performance, and support targeted marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze card transaction and customer engagement data to identify trends, patterns, and segmentation specific to the UAE market.
• Develop data-driven use cases, showcasing value opportunities and measuring outcomes effectively.
• Conduct behavioral analysis to support spend growth and targeted marketing campaigns (BTL).
• Partner with the Cards Product Team to provide strategic recommendations for product improvements.
• Present insights and findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs, such as transaction volume, customer acquisition, and retention rates.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous audits and validation checks.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in card data analysis.
• Implement predictive modeling techniques to enhance product performance and customer engagement.

• Credit Utilization Rate

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Cards Data Analyst in the UAE banking industry.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the UAE banking sector.
• Hands-on expertise in predictive modeling, particularly in retail banking and card payments.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Python for data analysis (required).
• Experience with MS Dynamics – Customer Insights (preferred).

Location & Duration: This is an onsite opportunity based out of either Dubai or Abu Dhabi and is for a tenure of 8 months.
