Overview Of The Role:
The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing all carpentry and paint work within the store, ensuring that all store assets' functionality and aesthetics are preserved. The role involves collaborating with the Workshop Coordinator and Com-In Manager to plan and execute maintenance tasks efficiently, supporting store presentations and remodels, and directly contributing to customer satisfaction and store appearance. Success in this role requires expert carpentry skills, a commitment to safety, cost-effectiveness, and the ability to work collaboratively within the team to meet deadlines.

What You Will Do:
- Undertake and carry out the company's carpentry and maintenance requirements as outlined by the Workshop Coordinator or Com-In Manager.
- Assist the Interiors Designer/VM/Activity teams during store remodeling or catalogue launch planning in carpentry-related tasks to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with the Workshop Coordinator or Com-In Manager to determine the scope of routine maintenance required and carry out the work.
- Draw up a list of materials and equipment required for all tasks and submit it to the Workshop Coordinator.
- Set up or dismantle store and back-office fixtures, handling their maintenance and repair.
- Repair damaged carpentry and paint work when necessary and provide technical assistance to customers as required.
- Ensure safety while working in any area of the store and take action when needed.
- Minimize cost by maximizing/reusing materials and resources.
- Proficiency in finishing carpentry and wood work.
- Ability to carry out wall construction and floor covering.
- Strong customer focus and ability to provide technical assistance.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) is preferred.
- Higher School/Vocational Education.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in carpentry.
- Proficiency in finishing carpentry, wood and paint work, wall construction, and floor covering.
- Ability to multitask and handle a variety of carpentry tasks.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
- Strong customer focus and individual accountability.
- Continuous improvement approach and personal leadership.
- Team player capability.
