Job Purpose
The hiring of a Cashier cum Accountant is crucial for strengthening financial operations, ensuring accuracy in cash handling, and maintaining streamlined accounting processes. The role will support day-to-day financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies.

The hiring of a Cashier cum Accountant is crucial for strengthening financial operations, ensuring accuracy in cash handling, and maintaining streamlined accounting processes. The role will support day-to-day financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Preparation of receipt & Updating of all the Customer-related receipts, whether it is Cash, Cheque, bank transfer or any other mode of Payment in NetSuite & SO Report.
- Updating payment in Matrix for Work Order purposes
- Depositing in CDM all the liquid cash received from customers, inspection charges,
- Loan repayment, Deductions, or any other Cash received.
- Invoicing all the Sales Orders.
- Prepare the SOA of customers as per the request.
- Coordinating with the person handling Bank accounts regarding the amounts deposited pending credit & inward Transfers pending credit.
- Collection of Security Cheque/ Cash from Shipping Companies against customs duty.
- Release of the Security Cheque to the shipper once the customs claim is settled.
- Collecting, keeping & checking all the exit documents for export purposes of vehicles.
- Releasing Exit documents to the warehouse once payment is cleared & security cheque
- received.
- Following up with Shipping companies/ Customers for settling the customs fine, if received on any shipment, any inspection/other charges pending receipt.
- Creation of an issue in Jira if needed to open a case against any shipping company. regarding the demand notices unpaid & need to provide all supporting documents to the Legal Person.
- Creating an invoice for Inspection/ Any other charges as per the request from Logistics/ Sales/Sales support.
- A Cashier cum Accountant plays a crucial role in managing cash transactions, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must possess a mix of technical, financial, and interpersonal skills to ensure smooth financial operations.
