Job Description

As a UPS Center Clerk focusing on Local Sort (PM Operations) in Dubai, UAE, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of packages within our sortation facility during the evening hours. Your keen eye for detail and efficient work will directly impact our ability to deliver packages on time and maintain operational excellence.

Here's a Detailed Breakdown Of Your Responsibilities

• Package Reweigh and Audit: You'll be responsible for meticulously reweighing packages to ensure accurate billing and compliance with shipping regulations. This involves using scanning equipment to capture precise weight data for each package and conducting thorough audits to ensure no packages are missed from reweigh scanning, preventing discrepancies and potential delays.
• On-Road Returns Reconciliation: You'll manage the process of reconciling on-road returns from Service Providers (SPs), our drivers. This includes verifying returned packages against manifests, documenting their status, and ensuring they are accurately processed back into the system for redelivery, rerouting, or other necessary actions.
• Waybill Scanning and Data Entry: A significant part of your role involves scanning waybills and performing essential key entries of package information into the OPSYS system. This crucial step ensures that all package data, including origin, destination, service level, and special instructions, is accurately captured and updated in our central operating system, facilitating efficient tracking and sorting.
• Pickup Operations Reconciliation Reporting: You'll be tasked with preparing and reconciling the Pickup Operations report. This involves gathering data related to package pickups, identifying any discrepancies, and ensuring all collected packages are accounted for, contributing to overall operational accuracy and accountability.
• Feeder Movement Coordination (Al Quoz to HUB): You'll play a part in coordinating the movement of feeder trucks between the Al Quoz facility and the main HUB, and vice versa. This involves ensuring timely departures and arrivals, and potentially assisting with the loading or unloading coordination to maintain a continuous and efficient flow of packages between these key locations.
