Key Responsibilities

Expert Culinary Preparation

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your assigned section, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new, exciting menu items that highlight seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure each meal prepared adheres to established presentation and taste guidelines.

Kitchen Operations

• Efficiently manage and organise your station, ensuring a clean, tidy, and well-stocked environment.
• Maintain a proactive approach to meeting the kitchen's safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor food stock levels, order supplies when necessary, and minimise waste.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with kitchen staff and other Chef de Parties to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Foster a positive working environment and support team development through effective communication.
• Actively engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance professional growth and kitchen skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Culinary arts degree or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

• Must have atleast 3 - 5years of experience in Wester Cuisine
• Good knowledge of culinary techniques and trends, with a passion for experimenting with flavors' and textures.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to priorities tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of service and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
