Job Description
Chef De Partie - Butchery
Ready for a sizzling career move? You will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for All meat and fish on delivery are inspected for quality and quantity.
- In responsible of maintaining the cleanliness of the meat and fish processing facilities, as well as the correct storage of all meat and fish goods in the freezers and refrigerators.
- The Butcher must be completely aware of the company's controlling and food preparation protocols, such as portion control, which are specified in the F&B manual.
- All food items should be properly measured and portioned. Conforms to all portion sizes, quality requirements, department regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist the Sous Chefs with menu planning and ensuring that enough supplies are available for the projected service.
- Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality culinary options for a variety of conferences and events. Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy & ensuring all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned to WHS standards.
Your experience and skills include:
- With at least 1-2 years relevant work experience in a hotel
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
