Job Brief:

The Chief Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely reports, and ensuring compliance with all financial, legal, and statutory requirements. The role involves safeguarding company assets, monitoring collections, and providing clear financial reporting to management and executives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily financial accounts with no backlog.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
• Safeguard company assets and ensure appropriate insurance coverage is maintained.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements by the 7th of each month.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements and reports.
• Handle all commercial, legal, and statutory requirements.
• Ensure timely payments to suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
• Oversee tenant collections, monitor receivables, and provide weekly aging analysis reports.
• Take appropriate legal action in case of bounced cheques.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the Real Estate industry (mandatory).
• Proven experience in presenting financial reports to Finance Managers and C-level executives.
• Strong personality with excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent reporting and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
