We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer - System Architecture (Grade 6)
About the Role:
We are in search of a Chief Engineer - System Architecture plays a pivotal role in the System Design department, focusing on acquiring, implementing, and optimizing System Engineering (SE) tools and providing expert support to the System Engineers in the development of requirement baselines, functional architectures, physical architectures, and verification and testing plans.

We are in search of a Chief Engineer - System Architecture plays a pivotal role in the System Design department, focusing on acquiring, implementing, and optimizing System Engineering (SE) tools and providing expert support to the System Engineers in the development of requirement baselines, functional architectures, physical architectures, and verification and testing plans.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in acquiring SE Tools (Requirement Management & SE)
- Train Extensively on tools to become master users
- Support SE to develop requirement baselines, functional architecture, physical architectures and verification and testing plans
- Train and provide technical support to SE on the use of these tools
- Evaluate and monitor tool usage to ensure that we are getting the benefit, keep up with the latest advances.
- Assist in the procurement and implementation of SE tools, specializing in Requirement Management & SE, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the System Engineering team.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions to equip team members with advanced proficiency in SE tools, ensuring they become expert users
- Collaborate with System Engineers to develop requirement baselines, ensuring clear, concise, and accurate specifications for missile systems.
- Provide hands-on support in the creation of functional architectures and physical architectures, aligning them with project objectives and customer requirements.
- Assist in the formulation of comprehensive verification and testing plans, ensuring that they are robust, reliable, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Evaluate and monitor the usage of SE tools to ensure optimal benefits are derived, and keep abreast of the latest advances in the field.
- Advise and mentor System Engineers on the effective use of SE tools, providing ongoing technical support and guidance.
- Oversee the System Architecture team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure they consistently deliver high-quality results.
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in System Architecture with a focus on missile systems.
- Preferred: 15+ years of experience and Prior experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
- Preferred: Certification in relevant System Engineering Tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Management and System Engineering Tools.
