Civil Foreman - Solar Works

Job Overview:

As a Civil Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the solar construction process on-site. You will be the main point of contact for the project team and will ensure that all work is completed according to the project plans, budget, and schedule. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Ensure that all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns
• Order and maintain inventory of materials and equipment needed for the project
• Prepare and submit progress reports, daily logs, and other documentation as required
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or delays
• Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

•  Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques and processes
