Responsibilities
Site Inspection & Supervision:
Monitor and inspect construction activities related to roads, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and local regulations.
Conduct routine checks on grading, paving, drainage, and other civil works.
Verify and document the quality and quantity of materials used.
Compliance & Quality Control:
Ensure all works comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and relevant authorities’ standards.
Identify and report any non-conformities and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Review and validate contractors' method statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and material submittals.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, including daily reports, site observations, and photographic evidence.
Assist in preparing progress reports and attend site meetings.
Coordination & Communication:
Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams.
Communicate effectively to resolve site issues promptly.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
6+ years of relevant experience in civil inspection, specifically in road and infrastructure projects.
Experience working with construction supervision consultants in Abu Dhabi.
Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi construction standards, regulations, and specifications.
Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software.
Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
