Civil Project Coordinator

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination:

• Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing construction projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring adherence to agreed schedules.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and schedules.
• Track project changes and update documentation to ensure all team members are informed.
• Generate periodic reports on project progress, risks, and potential issues for management and stakeholders.

Resource Management:

• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment as per project requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to site in collaboration with the procurement team.

Site Coordination:

• Conduct regular site visits to inspect ongoing activities and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
• Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure that the project complies with local regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Support in enforcing safety protocols on-site and reporting any incidents or hazards.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates.
• Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in high-rise buildings or luxury villa construction.

Technical Skills:

• Familiar with construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory requirements in the UAE.

Soft Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Other Requirements:

• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi construction regulations and local authority approvals.
• Valid UAE driver’s license is preferred.
