Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop and implement Azure cloud operations strategies to enhance efficiency, cost optimization, and system reliability.
• Automate Azure cloud management tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Implement Azure security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance adherence.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place for Azure workloads and services.
• Collaborate with development, security, and DevOps teams to align Azure cloud operations with business objectives.
• Manage Azure governance policies, including cost control, resource optimization, and operational best practices.
• Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for Azure cloud management.
• Provide support and incident resolution for Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud operations, cloud administration, or infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Deep understanding of Azure security, compliance, and identity management frameworks.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting Azure-based applications and services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal English skills are required for effective communication and collaboration, with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a focus on operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with container orchestration and Kubernetes on Azure.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and Azure cloud service management best practices.
• Experience with cost optimization strategies and cloud financial management (FinOps) in Azure.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud strategies with Azure.
