Ready to Redefine Collections in a Digital-First Bank?

Are you passionate about building smarter, more efficient collection strategies? Do you thrive on driving recovery performance while putting customer experience and compliance first? If so, you’re in the right place.

We’re on the lookout for a Collection Operation Specialist to drive collections strategy and operations at Wio Bank. In this role, you’ll play a key part in optimizing how we manage delinquent accounts—from agency oversight to digital enablement and dispute resolution—while ensuring compliance and efficiency at every step.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Account Allocation & Performance Monitoring

  • Allocate delinquent accounts across external agencies and in-house teams based on segmentation and performance.
  • Track and analyze recovery metrics to drive continuous performance improvement.

Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure all collections processes adhere to internal policies, audit requirements, and UAE regulatory standards.
  • Maintain strong governance and control frameworks to mitigate risk.

Documentation & Record Management

  • Maintain clear, accurate, and audit-ready records of all collection activities, financial documents, and customer communications.
  • Support internal and external audit processes with complete and timely documentation.

Customer Dispute Resolution

  • Track and manage customer disputes related to billing, payments, or service issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, fair, and customer-centric resolutions.

Digital Collections Enablement

  • Work with product and tech teams to build scalable, automated digital collections flows.
  • Enable smarter segmentation, reminders, and recovery using digital-first tools and journeys.

Customer Communication Enablement

  • Design and implement omnichannel communication strategies (email, SMS, push, IVR, chatbot) that empower customers to resolve issues with minimal effort.
  • Champion self-service features that reduce friction and improve resolution rates.

Strategy & Policy Development

  • Draft and maintain comprehensive collections strategies, frameworks, and policies.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine prioritization, workflows, and recovery treatment paths.

What We’re Looking For:

6–10 years of experience in collections, recovery strategy, or risk operations—ideally within digital banking or fintech.

Strong understanding of UAE regulations, risk controls, and debt collection practices.

Experience working with collection agencies, digital tools, and performance reporting.

Proactive, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to balance customer empathy with commercial outcomes.

Why Join Wio?

Be part of a digital bank transforming how collections are done in the region.

Lead end-to-end strategy and drive innovation in recovery operations.

Work in a collaborative, diverse, and fast-paced environment.

Enjoy hybrid work, private health & life insurance, generous leave, and more.
