About This Opportunity

Crown have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Coordinator to join our beverage can manufacturing plant in Dubai.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Coordinator is responsible for supporting commercial activities and ensuring that customer requirements are met alongside business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Complete sales for export customers including invoicing, money collection and avoidance of bad debts
• Conduct demand planning based on customer forecasts and orders
• Carry out production scheduling in line with sales, customer requirements and the availability of production department resources in order to achieve optimum utilization and maintain inventory at permissible levels
• Ensure stock is cleared of ageing products
• Issue and follow up pro-forma invoices
• Follow up letters of credit/amendments and ensure they are received from the export customers on time for production
• Manage intercompany supplies and related forecasting in collaboration with the Commercial Manager
• Obtain and maintain the most recent and realistic monthly forecasts from customers in relation to labels and sizes
• Issue weekly and monthly reports as required
• Maintain an active list of products and artwork and coordinate with customers, studio and production to keep it up to date
• Ensure that the artworks are correct and that job tickets are complete in all aspects before authorizing production
• Manage communication between MENA Studio and customers and/or their graphic agencies
• Maintain SOX documents as per department requirements
• Manage administrative requirements as required
• Analyse market data in collaboration with the Commercial Manager
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• Degree in Business, Engineering, or another relevant subject
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in Commercial and B2B sales
  
  

Beneficial

• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience in beverage or packaging industries
• SAP experience
  
  

Required Skills And Competencies

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to influence key stakeholders
• Proficient in using the MS Office suit with Excel skills at an intermediate level as a minimum
• Excellent analytical skills and a logical approach to work
• Able to work under pressure and can adhere to tight deadlines
• Shows a strong sense of priorities and can work autonomously whilst being a key member of a small team
• Demonstrates a positive and solution oriented approach
