Job Description – Commis II
We are looking for a Commis II to join our culinary team at Mövenpick Al Marjan Island. This role focuses on supporting the daily kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes under supervision, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items as directed by senior chefs.
- Ensure kitchen areas, equipment, and tools are kept clean and sanitized.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food preparation or a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A culinary diploma or experience in hotels/luxury hospitality is an advantage.
