Commis III - InterContinental Abu Dhabi

Are you passionate about food and eager to grow in a world-class kitchen environment? InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated and energetic Commis III to support our award-winning culinary team.

As a Commis III, you will be the backbone of kitchen operations—responsible for basic food preparation, cleanliness, and supporting senior chefs in ensuring that each dish meets the highest quality standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food across various sections as directed by the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times.
• Ensure ingredients are properly labeled, stored, and rotated.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures in line with HACCP standards.
• Support the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth and timely delivery of dishes.
• Be open to learning and development with a positive and can-do attitude.
  
  

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred, but fresh graduates from culinary schools are welcome.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen.
• Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
