The Communications Specialist is responsible for mapping the customer journey and creating a communications plan for each department to create strong client relationships, foster loyalty and drive sales.

Working with the department heads and senior managers to understand business needs, the Communications Specialist develops a communications strategy to support departmental objectives and overall business goals. They are responsible for the execution of both internal and external communications, managing communication plans, channels, testing, reporting and optimisations.

They will also take ownership of overseeing the implementation of new initiatives that improve the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Map and document the customer journey across the haus & haus Group and align communications to effectively support customer lifecycle timings.
  • Define the communications strategy for each department aligned with their business objectives.
  • Oversee and project manage the implementation of new initiatives that allow us to improve communication with clients.
  • Manage the implementation of the communications strategy in collaboration with the Marketing team using Monday.com, to track and manage tasks across multiple stakeholders..
  • Regular communication with relevant department heads and senior management to share plans, results and ensure the strategy is meeting business objectives.
  • Look for opportunity to effectively cross-sell and up-sell different services from across the haus & haus Group.
  • Draft communications in line with haus & haus key messages and tone of voice, with approval, review and guidance from key stakeholders.
  • Planning and execution of internal communications strategy in collaboration with Brand & Culture Lead.
  • Work with CRM & Data team to identify areas of opportunity in our database and suggest strategies to maximise the potential.
  • Work with CRM & Data team to set up any triggered communication flows.
  • Circulate monthly reports on performance with recommendations for future improvements, ensuring test and learn is being implemented and reported on.

Skill requirements:

  • A Bachelor degree in marketing, communications or equivalent certifications.
  • 5+ related experience in communications.
  • Experience in both internal and external communications planning and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective communications plans and deliver business results.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Copywriting experience preferred.
  • Experience working in real estate or similar professional services industry preferred.
