Compliance Analyst

The Compliance Analyst is detail-oriented and proactive. This role supports the Compliance function by ensuring the Company adheres to all regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirement - particularly with regards to the UAE Real Estate Market and AML/CFT regulations.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Monitor and evaluate compliance risks and procedures across real estate transactions and brokerage operations.
• Ensure adherence to UAE regulatory requirements including AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CFT (Combating the Financing of Terrorism).

Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR) & Monitoring

• Investigate and escalate potential violations or suspicious activities to the Compliance Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and submissions using the UAE’s goAML system to regulatory authorities such as the FIU (Financial Intelligence Unit) and other relevant bodies.

Customer Due Diligence (CDD) & Know Your Customer (KYC)

• Perform KYC (Know Your Customer) and client due diligence checks, including UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Ownership) identification and screening against sanctions lists (UN security council list and UAE terrorist list).
• Perform Adverse Media checks.
• Maintain accurate and confidential compliance records in line with data protection laws.
• Ensure KYC reports are updated daily and sent to Managers and Directors weekly to enable timely follow up.

Training & Awareness

• Assist in the preparation of training material to enable the provision of compliance training and awareness sessions to brokers/agents, and internal staff.

Policies and Procedures

• Speak with clients and/or coworkers using clear and professional language.
• Maintain confidentiality of Company materials and information.
• Protect the privacy and security of clients and/or coworkers.
• Follow Company and department policies and procedures.

Person Specification

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Compliance, preferably within the UAE real estate, financial services, or legal sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certification such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) would be an advantage.

Skills And Abilities

• Strong understanding of UAE real estate regulations, including RERA, AML/CFT laws, and DLD requirements.
• Familiarity with KYC/UBO processes and international sanctions frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
