We’re looking for a Compliance Monitoring & Testing Specialist to help us take compliance beyond checkboxes. You’ll play a key role in testing frameworks, identifying gaps, and keeping Wio ahead of the regulatory curve — all while contributing to one of the most exciting fintech stories in the MENA region.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Conduct independent reviews across the business to assess effectiveness of policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Identify compliance gaps and propose practical, forward-thinking recommendations.
Follow up on remediation actions and ensure timely resolution of non-compliance issues.
Prepare concise reporting and dashboards for senior leadership, summarizing key risks and trends.
Support special investigations and ad-hoc reviews when needed.
Stay ahead of regulatory changes and advise stakeholders on potential business impact.
Contribute to a strong, risk-aware culture through collaboration and clear communication.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Banking, or Finance — certifications in compliance, risk, or audit are a big plus.
3–5 years of experience in Compliance and/or Audit within the banking industry.
Strong grasp of UAE regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop practical solutions and build trust quickly.
Bilingual (Arabic & English) preferred, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and a high level of discretion and integrity.
