Position: Compliance Officer

Salary: AED 15,000 per month

About The Company

A licensed and long-standing financial institution in the UAE is seeking a qualified Compliance Officer. The organization operates within the currency exchange and remittance sector and is regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE). With a strong reputation for reliability and regulatory integrity, the company is committed to maintaining high compliance standards and adhering to AML/CFT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CFT laws, CBUAE regulations, and internal policies
• Implement and maintain the compliance monitoring framework
• Review and report suspicious transactions as per regulatory requirements
• Support regulatory inspections and internal/external audits
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and advise management accordingly
• Develop and conduct compliance-related training for staff
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to the CBUAE and internal stakeholders
• Work closely with operational teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in AML/CFT Compliance, Audit, or Risk Management within the financial sector
• Preferably CBUAE-approved as a Compliance Officer or ACO
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS, ICA Diploma, CFE, or ACFCS
• In-depth knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and international compliance standards
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
