JOB TITLE: Lead Construction Engineer
CLIENT: A prominent regional entity delivering end-to-end EPC solutions across marine infrastructure, offshore energy, and dredging operations.
LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Permanent Hire Staff role/ Full Residential role in UAE
WORK SCHEDULE: 9 hours (including lunch break)- From 8am to 5pm- Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday are week off)
START DATE: Late 2025/ Early 2026 - Depending on successful candidates circumstances

Kintec has been exclusively selected to support a prominent regional organization in Abu Dhabi, known for delivering full-spectrum EPC solutions across marine infrastructure, offshore energy, and dredging. This is an exciting, tax-free opportunity for permanent residential staff roles in the UAE, offering a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm. Position Summary
We are recruiting a Lead Construction Engineer to take ownership of offshore project scopes, ensuring planning, execution, and subcontractor management are carried out to the highest standards. The role involves close coordination with the Offshore Construction Manager and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop offshore construction schedules, cost optimisation strategies, and detailed execution plans.
- Oversee subcontractor technical and commercial evaluations and monitor their performance.
- Lead constructability reviews, procedure reviews, and interface documents.
- Coordinate procurement of offshore materials and ensure readiness for mobilization.
- Drive HSE compliance, quality improvements, and lessons learned.
- Supervise offshore work progress, ensure continuity with fabrication schedules, and support hook-up scopes.
- Contribute to variation orders, claims, and subcontractor invoice reviews.
- Support project close-out and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Naval preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of offshore construction experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong contractual, commercial, and financial awareness.
- Proven ability to lead teams and interface with multiple stakeholders.
