WSP in the Middle east seeking a highly skilled Digital and Smart Design Consultant with a strong focus on Business Development to join our team.

This individual will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our digital and smart design services, with a focus on identifying new business opportunities, establishing strong client relationships, and delivering innovative design solutions that align with the evolving needs of our clients.

As a Digital and Smart Design Consultant, you will bridge the gap between creative design and technological solutions, working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement forward-thinking strategies that leverage cutting-edge technologies. Your ability to identify business needs, pitch new solutions, and drive partnerships will be crucial in this role.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector for digital and smart design services.
• Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase market share and expand the company’s client base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to generate new leads and referrals.
• Research and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to craft tailored sales strategies.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and proposals, ensuring a strong alignment of solutions with client objectives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and campaigns that generate business leads.
• Advise clients on best practices in digital design, smart technology integration, and digital transformation.
• Work with clients to define project goals, identify needs, and develop comprehensive digital design strategies that align with their business objectives.
• Drive innovation by introducing new digital and smart design technologies that help clients improve their business performance and customer experiences.
• Lead the design and implementation of digital experiences that leverage smart technologies, including IoT, AI, and data analytics.
• Work closely with design, technical, and development teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams, providing regular updates and facilitating effective communication.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
• Stay current on emerging digital and smart design trends, best practices, and technologies.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or additional certifications in business development, digital transformation, or design-related disciplines (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital design, smart technology consulting, or related fields in the construction sector, with a strong focus on business development.
• Proven track record of success in securing and growing client accounts in the digital design or technology sector.
• Experience with emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, VR/AR, etc.) and understanding of their impact on business design strategies.
• Strong business acumen with a focus on identifying growth opportunities and delivering innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to develop strategic business plans, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as a solid understanding of design principles and smart technologies.
