Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Glaucoma Surgeon to join a leading ophthalmology team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical and clinical expertise in managing glaucoma patients, with a commitment to evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Glaucoma Surgeon to join a leading ophthalmology team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical and clinical expertise in managing glaucoma patients, with a commitment to evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced glaucoma surgeries including trabeculectomy, tube shunt procedures, MIGS, and laser therapies.
- Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of glaucoma conditions, including primary open-angle, angle-closure, and secondary glaucomas.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient care, including long-term follow-up and visual rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with retina, cornea, and general ophthalmology teams for integrated patient care.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and CME activities.
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring junior staff and residents.
- Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology
- UK CCT or American Board Certification in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Glaucoma (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years post-specialization experience in glaucoma surgery
- Arabic-speaking preferred, but open to strong profiles regardless of gender or language
- DHA eligibility or licensure preferred
- Proven surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Experience in MIGS and advanced imaging modalities (OCT, visual fields)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
