Job Description

 Program Development and Implementation:

  • Design and implement value-based health care models, including bundled payments, shared savings programs, and risk-sharing agreements.
  • Develop strategic plans to transition from volume-based to value-based care.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the success of VBHC initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, payers, and healthcare providers, to align value-based care goals.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among multidisciplinary teams to ensure program alignment and integration.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement and track the impact of value-based care initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate program outcomes and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders.

Quality Improvement:

  • Implement continuous quality improvement processes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and enforce clinical guidelines and best practices for value-based care delivery.

Policy Development:

  • Identify gaps within the regulatory framework and develop suitable policies
  • Assess impact of policy reforms

Financial Management:

  • Oversee the budget for value-based care programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
  • Analyse financial data to assess the economic impact of VBHC initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all value-based care programs comply with relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Stay updated on policy changes and industry trends related to value-based health care.

Capacity Building for UAE Nationals:

  • Design and oversee programs for select UAE nationals to become experts in the field of VBHC
  • Responsible to mentor/coach select UAE nationals to become leaders in patient outcomes and cost-efficiency models
  • Ensure sustainability of VBHC programs by setting up multidisciplinary teams with the relevant skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine or public health, (Family Medicine and master’s degree are preferred). Practicing physician (preferred) & Degree or training completion on Health Economics.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare management, with a focus on value-based care programs.
  • Proven track record of leading successful healthcare initiatives and improving patient outcomes.
