Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and formulate effective treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.
  • Monitor and track patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of mental health and psychiatry, continuously updating and improving knowledge and skills.
  • Oversee and supervise junior mental health professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in case reviews and meetings to discuss treatment plans and patient progression.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and trainings on mental health-related topics to healthcare professionals and the community.
  • Comply with all ethical and legal standards in providing mental health services.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Psychiatry or a related field.
  • Valid license to practice psychiatry in Saudi Arabia.
  • Candidates must hold UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Psychiatrist, with experience in a consulting role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions, psychiatric treatments, and medication management.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic language skills preferred.
