Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide specialized neonatal care, managing critically ill newborns and ensuring the highest standards of treatment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide specialized neonatal care, managing critically ill newborns and ensuring the highest standards of treatment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat newborns with complex medical conditions, including premature births and congenital disorders.
- Oversee NICU patient management, ensuring optimal care and recovery.
- Perform advanced neonatal procedures, including ventilation management and resuscitation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, nurses, and specialists.
- Provide consultative services for neonatal cases and high-risk pregnancies.
- Stay updated on latest advancements in neonatology and implement best practices.
- Participate in clinical research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Offer guidance and support to junior medical staff and NICU nurses.
- Provide on-call emergency coverage for neonatal emergencies.
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree or equivalent.
- Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in neonatology, preferably in a tertiary care NICU.
- DHA/MOH/HAAD Consultant License (preferred).
- Expertise in neonatal ventilation, nutrition, and infection control.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make critical decisions.
