Position: Consultant Neurologist (Specialized in EMG)—Job Vacancy in Dubai

As a Consultant Neurologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized and comprehensive care for patients with neurological disorders. Your primary role will be to diagnose and treat patients with EMG procedures, collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and educate patients and their families on managing their conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EMG procedures, nerve conduction studies, and other neurological tests as needed
• Diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of neurological disorders
• Interpret test results, medical imaging, and patient histories to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their conditions and provide them with resources and support
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of Neurology and EMG procedures
• Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and other professional development activities
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients
• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards set by the healthcare industry
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Neurology with a subspecialty in EMG
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Consultant Neurologist
• Strong knowledge of EMG procedures and interpretation of results
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of providing high-quality patient care
• Ability to keep up with medical advancements and new treatment techniques
• Must be Western-trained
