Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join our healthcare team in Dubai. As a Consultant Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to newborns, especially those requiring intensive care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Your expertise will be vital in managing the health of these vulnerable infants and ensuring their well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose infants with complex medical conditions requiring specialized intervention.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for neonates.
Oversee and manage the care of neonates in the NICU, providing life-saving interventions as necessary.
Work closely with nursing staff, pediatricians, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
Engage in ongoing communication with families to educate them about their infant’s medical status and treatments.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research.
Maintain current knowledge of advances in neonatology and apply best practices in patient care.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with fellowship training in Neonatology.
Board certification in Neonatology is an advantage.
Current medical license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
A minimum of [insert years] years of clinical experience in a NICU or relevant pediatric setting.
Deep understanding of neonatal care protocols and evidence-based practices.
Effective communication skills to convey complex medical information clearly.
