As a consultant NICU, you will provide exceptional care and expertise to our neonatal intensive care unit, ensuring that the highest standards of patient care are met. Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Diagnose and treat premature babies, infants with respiratory distress, congenital abnormalities, and other medical conditions
- Monitor and provide necessary medical interventions to stabilize critically ill newborns
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and blood tests
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients
- Educate parents and families on the care of their newborns, including post-discharge instructions
- Keep accurate and updated medical records and document patient progress
- Continuously stay updated with the latest medical advancements and techniques in the field of NICU
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Specialist training in Neonatology and/or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consultant NICU in a reputable healthcare facility
- Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to different patient populations and cultural backgrounds
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and safety
