As a Consultant in Nuclear Medicine, you will provide specialized imaging and treatment services to patients utilizing techniques such as PET scans, SPECT scans, and other radiological imaging. You will also be responsible for interpreting imaging results, diagnosing diseases, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant in Nuclear Medicine, you will provide specialized imaging and treatment services to patients utilizing techniques such as PET scans, SPECT scans, and other radiological imaging. You will also be responsible for interpreting imaging results, diagnosing diseases, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret various nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and SPECT scans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explain procedures, and address any concerns.
- Analyze and interpret imaging results to accurately diagnose diseases.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and procedures.
- MD or equivalent degree in nuclear medicine.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Nuclear Medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Valid license to practice nuclear medicine in Abu Dhabi.
