Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pathological examinations, including histopathology, cytopathology, and autopsy evaluations
- Provide expert diagnostic support and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
- Conduct research to enhance pathology techniques and improve clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Mentor and train junior staff, including technicians and residents, to maintain high-quality laboratory practices
- Stay informed on advancements in pathology through conferences and continuing education
- Medical degree from an accredited Western institution with specialization in Pathology
- Board certification in Pathology from a recognized body such as the American Board of Pathology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Consultant Pathologist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic techniques, laboratory management, and quality assurance protocols
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information effectively
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural medical environment
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage but not required
