Consultant Pediatric Anesthesiologist - Dubai

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor the patient's vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
• Provide pre-operative consultations and post-operative care for pediatric patients
• Collaborate and work closely with surgeons and other medical team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about the risks and benefits of anesthesia and address any concerns they may have
• Keep detailed medical records and report any adverse reactions or complications
• Stay up-to-date on new anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment
• Provide guidance and training to junior anesthesiology staff members
• Meet and exceed quality and safety standards set by the hospital and regulatory bodies
• Participate in academic and research activities as required
  
  

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school
• Specialty training in Anesthesiology with a focus on pediatric patients
• Board certification or equivalent experience in Pediatrics Anesthesiology
• Valid medical license in Dubai or eligible for registration
• Minimum 5 years of post-training experience in an academic or hospital setting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions quickly
• Passion for delivering high-quality and compassionate care to pediatric patients
• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
