Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine – Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join a prestigious hospital at Saudi Arabia. As the leading healthcare provider in the Middle East, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to patients.

As a Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine, you will provide specialized medical care to pediatric patients in the emergency department. This role requires a high level of expertise, knowledge, and skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of acutely ill and injured pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients presenting with a range of medical conditions in the emergency department
• Provide timely and appropriate initial resuscitation and stabilization for critically ill pediatric patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide appropriate follow-up care for pediatric patients
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care to pediatric patients
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers
• Participate in quality improvement activities and research projects to enhance patient care
  
  

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution
• Candidates must possess UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent certification.
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine with a subspecialty in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine in a reputable healthcare facility
• Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for providing excellent and compassionate care to pediatric patients
