Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist to provide specialized care for children with hormonal and metabolic disorders. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing endocrine conditions, including diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid diseases, and adrenal disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat pediatric endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, and growth abnormalities.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as hormone level assessments, dynamic endocrine testing, and imaging studies.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for children with endocrine conditions.
  • Provide long-term management and follow-up care for pediatric patients with chronic endocrine disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, dietitians, and genetic specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate families on treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and disease management.
  • Stay updated on advancements in pediatric endocrinology and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students in pediatric endocrinology.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Postgraduate qualification in pediatrics and subspecialty or Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Pediatric Endocrinologist.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Al Ain.
  • Experience in performing dynamic endocrine testing, pediatric diabetes management, and growth disorder evaluations.
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills in pediatric endocrinology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
