Key Responsibilities

• Provides expert consultation and treatment to pediatric patients with digestive system disorders
• Conducts thorough physical examinations, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and prescribes appropriate treatments
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
• Educates patients and their families on proper care and management of their condition
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Participates in departmental rounds, meetings, and case discussions
• Keeps abreast of advancements and developments in the field of pediatric gastroenterology
• Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations
• Provides mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff
  
  

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or equivalent in Pediatric Gastroenterology
• Western-trained education or experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric gastroenterology
• Fluent in English, Arabic proficiency is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
