Consultant Pediatric Hematologist / Oncologist - Dubai

Position Overview

As a Consultant Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to our patients, specifically children and adolescents, who are suffering from blood disorders and cancers. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat a variety of hematologic and oncologic conditions. In addition, you will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to our patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of hematologic and oncologic disorders in pediatric patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs
• Utilize advanced medical knowledge and technology to provide the best care possible
• Coordinate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
• Stay updated on current research and advancements in pediatric hematology and oncology
• Participate in departmental meetings and educational programs
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  
  

Qualifications

• Medical degree and specialty training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
• Licensed to practice in the UAE
• Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of relevant medical technology and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and diverse environment
