About The Role
As a Consultant Pediatric Neurology, you will be dedicated to providing high-quality medical care for patients with neurological disorders and promoting the wellbeing of children with neurological conditions. You will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including brain tumors, seizures, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay.

About The Role
As a Consultant Pediatric Neurology, you will be dedicated to providing high-quality medical care for patients with neurological disorders and promoting the wellbeing of children with neurological conditions. You will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including brain tumors, seizures, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and diagnose neurological disorders in children
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EEG and MRI, to aid in diagnosis and treatment
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments for patients
- Monitor and track patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding their child's condition and treatment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in pediatric neurology through continuing education and research
- Participate in lectures and educational programs for medical students, residents, and nursing staff.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completed residency training in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric neurology
- Board certification in Pediatrics and Neurology
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in pediatric neurology
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be Western-trained
