Role Summary
Join a leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi as a Pediatric Oncology Consultant. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and treating pediatric cancers, leading multidisciplinary care teams, and contributing to clinical excellence, research, and education.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage pediatric oncology and hematologic conditions (e.g., leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors)
Perform and oversee bone marrow transplants (BMT) if applicable
Lead ward rounds, case reviews, and develop individualized treatment plans
Supervise junior medical staff and fellows
Ensure compliance with international standards of care and hospital policies
Participate in clinical trials, CME activities, and academic teaching
Provide compassionate communication and counseling to patients and families
Participate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
Board Certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Fellowship training in Pediatric Oncology (BMT preferred)
Minimum 5 Years Post-fellowship Experience
Eligibility for DOH/HAAD licensure in the UAE
Fluent in Arabic and English
Western-trained candidates preferred (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.)
