Consultant Pediatric Plastic Surgeon - Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and surgical services to pediatric patients in need of plastic surgery procedures such as cleft lip and palate repair, craniofacial reconstruction, and congenital deformity correction.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine the best course of treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients and communicate them effectively to the patient's family and caregivers.
• Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, using the latest techniques and technologies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Continuously improve surgical skills and knowledge through attending conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities.
• Ensure all medical records and documentation are up to date and accurate.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and participate in training and education programs.
  
  

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in plastic surgery with a focus on pediatric plastic surgery.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant in pediatric plastic surgery.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current and valid registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Additional certifications and experience in craniofacial surgery would be an asset.
