Responsibilities

As the Consultant Pediatric Radiologist, you will be responsible for using medical imaging techniques to diagnose and treat various medical conditions in children. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and accurate diagnosis, interpretation, and reporting of pediatric imaging studies. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting and interpreting imaging studies such as X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI scans on infants, children, and adolescents.
• Collaborating with primary physicians to plan and administer appropriate imaging procedures for patients.
• Analyzing and evaluating diagnostic images to diagnose and monitor medical conditions.
• Utilizing radiological selective knowledge and judgement to make informed decisions about patient care.
• Keeping abreast of advancements in pediatric radiology and implementing best practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Providing timely and accurate reports of findings to referring physicians.
• Interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals in a compassionate and professional manner.
  
  

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Pediatric Radiology.
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Radiologist.
• Strong knowledge of current diagnostic and interventional radiological techniques for pediatric patients.
• Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English is essential, Arabic language skills are desirable.
• Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
