Consultant Plastic Surgeon (Burns) - Saudi Arabia

Are you an experienced and skilled Plastic Surgeon with a passion for helping burn patients in a dynamic and multicultural environment? Look no further, as Allocation Assist Middle East is currently seeking a Consultant Plastic Surgeon (Burns) to join a team in Saudi Arabia.

As a Consultant Plastic Surgeon (Burns), you will be responsible for providing exceptional surgical and medical care to patients suffering from burns. You will have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art facilities with a team of dedicated and talented healthcare professionals, while also having the chance to enhance your skills and knowledge through continuous training and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their needs and determine the best course of treatment for their burns
• Perform surgical procedures to repair and reconstruct burns, including skin grafting, tissue expansion, and scar revision
• Develop and implement treatment plans for burns patients, including post-operative care and rehabilitation
• Collaborate with medical colleagues, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in plastic surgery, specifically in the treatment of burns
• Participate in research and publications to contribute to the advancement of burns treatment
• Mentor and train junior staff members, including residents and fellows
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and comply with all medical standards and regulations
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with necessary information and support throughout the treatment process
  
  

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Plastic Surgery
• Fellowship in Burns Surgery or extensive experience in treating burn patients
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plastic Surgeon, with a focus on burns treatment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Passion for providing the highest quality of patient care
• The candidate must have received Western training or education.
