Are you an experienced contracts professional with a strong background in trading and shipping? We’re currently seeking a Contract Advisor to join a high-performing commercial team based in Dubai. This is a dynamic opportunity within a global trading environment, focusing on oil products, freight, and marine cargo.

Are you an experienced contracts professional with a strong background in trading and shipping? We’re currently seeking a Contract Advisor to join a high-performing commercial team based in Dubai. This is a dynamic opportunity within a global trading environment, focusing on oil products, freight, and marine cargo.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide contractual and commercial advice across physical oil trading agreements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including spot and term deals, offtake agreements, tenders, and storage arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks, and trading standards.
- Support resolution of contract disputes and liaise with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Insurance).
- Contribute to process improvement, knowledge capture, and documentation updates.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in trading, shipping, or oil & gas contracts, ideally within a commodities or marine logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial risk, deal structures, and contract law.
- Skilled in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and high-pressure decision-making.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
- Based in the UAE or with immediate availability to relocate.
