Job Description
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Director to join our team. The successful candidate will work with a prestigious client organisation in the United Arab Emirates to support the delivery of a major rail infrastructure programme.
This senior level role requiring expertise in contract administration, commercial risk management and stakeholder engagement with a complex infrastructure project.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of work experience with 10 years of experience within large-scale rail or metro projects.

Job Description
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Director to join our team. The successful candidate will work with a prestigious client organisation in the United Arab Emirates to support the delivery of a major rail infrastructure programme.
This senior level role requiring expertise in contract administration, commercial risk management and stakeholder engagement with a complex infrastructure project.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of work experience with 10 years of experience within large-scale rail or metro projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Administer and manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Support the resolution of contractual issues, variations, and claims in coordination with client and contractor teams.
- Prepare and review contractual documentation, correspondence, and reports.
- Advise on contract strategy, risk mitigation, and procurement processes.
- Liaise with legal, commercial, and technical teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Minimum 20 years work experience with 10+ years of contract administration experience within rail projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is essential.
- Proven track record in contract administration on major infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
- Qualified and chartered by a recognized international body such as Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is an advantage.
- Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing environment.
- High attention to detail and professional integrity.
- Experience working in international or Middle Eastern infrastructure projects is an advantage
