Control Room Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of hotel guests, staff, and assets.
• Review CCTV footage to detect suspicious activities, threats, or security breaches, and report incidents accurately.
• Maintain surveillance equipment through routine checks and coordinate repairs with the engineering team.
• Collaborate with hotel departments and authorities (Civil Defense, Police, Ambulance) during emergencies such as evacuations, medical incidents, or fires.
• Assist with emergency response, guiding evacuation and responders while supporting crisis management efforts.
• Safeguard recorded data, ensuring secure storage and access per hotel policies and Dubai regulations.
• Provide real-time communication to the security team during critical incidents, ensuring effective escalation.
• Stay updated on new security technologies and procedures to enhance surveillance and emergency responses.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role within Dubai hospitality.
• Education: High School Diploma; SIRA CCTV certification preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in operating CCTV systems, fire alarm control, and access control systems.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills; other languages are a plus.
• Technology Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting.
• Skills: Observational, analytical, and decision-making skills; ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Integrity: Strong professionalism and adherence to privacy/confidentiality standards.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Coordination: Effective liaison with internal departments and external authorities during emergencies.
• Attention to Detail: Focused on reviewing footage, documenting incidents, and maintaining equipment.
