Principal Functions

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervises day-to-day receiving operations of the warehousing as per e& operating policies, ensure that guidelines & operating receiving procedures are followed for adequate materials handling and items updating to inventory system & Interfaces with other system. Supervise at the time of receiving as per e& receiving standards both serial & non serial materials.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervises and maintains effective receiving process & the system knowledge.
• Fully understand receiving consignment with all relevant requirement as per e& standards.
• Following up with PO standards with supplier physical receipt / Delivery note / Invoice.
• Important to know 1D / 2D / IMEI / Barcode scanner functions.
• Able to handle any type of serial & non serial material`s physically & system.
• Fully understand Pallet's standards / material`s arrangement / labelling / loading & off-loading Etc.
• Following with end user section PO/SIV & MRA process.
• Ensure that all documents are entered on daily basis to cope-up with the on-line stock system.
• Liaises with Central distribution section unit to ensure that consignments handing over & cleared on time.
• Supervises the safety of employees as well as the security of commodities & physical handling loading off-loading as per policies, standards & directives issued by the e& central receiving management.
• Follow-up damaged /short deliveries / processing SRD & returning to supplier.
• Attends to all correspondence/queries related to central receiving receipts, transfers etc. in order to relieve immediate superior of routine & day-to-day functions.
• Provides professional direction to subordinates evaluates their performance & carries-out the necessary counselling to ensure an acceptable level of performance.
• Handling forklift operators / helpers at the right time & smooth receiving operation.
• Performs any other related duties as required under officer warehouse.
  
  

Education & Experience

• 1-2 years of general supervisory experience in handling routine, day to-day stores operations in a large & prestigious organization
• Diploma Or equivalent course
