This role provides expert legal counsel on all construction-related matters, from contract drafting and negotiation to regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. The Corporate Advisory Legal Counsel will advise internal stakeholders, collaborate with external partners, and contribute to the development of legal strategy and policy.

Description
- Provide expert legal advice on all construction-related matters, including contractor sourcing, supply agreements, regulations, restrictive covenants, and insurance provisions.
- Draft and negotiate complex construction contracts and agreements, ensuring they minimise risk and maximise the organisation's legal rights. Develop contract templates and improve contract management processes.
- Respond to regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with government requirements, protecting the organisation's legal interests.
- Contribute to developing and implementing a value-added legal strategy aligned with the organisation's needs. Prepare policy and procedure proposals for the legal function.
- Counsel and advise internal departments on construction contractual cases and related legal matters. Liaise with external law firms, construction service providers, and government institutions.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's preferred). Professional certification is desirable.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate legal advisory services, with at least 3 years in a managerial position or similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex construction contracts and other legal agreements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic language skills are desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of the tourism industry, regionally and globally, is beneficial.
