Corporate Tax Director

Job Summary: 

The Director – Corporate Tax will be responsible for leading and managing corporate tax advisory and compliance services for clients in the UAE.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of UAE and international tax regulations, the ability to manage client relationships, and strategic leadership in tax planning and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate tax advisory, a deep understanding of UAE corporate tax laws, and expertise in international tax frameworks such as OECD, BEPS, and transfer pricing.

 Key Responsibilities:  

 Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance  

• Provide strategic tax advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with UAE corporate tax laws and international tax regulations.  
• Lead corporate tax structuring and planning engagements, advising on tax-efficient structures for businesses.  
• Oversee tax due diligence, tax audits, and tax health checks for clients. 
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax reporting requirements, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, and Pillar II.  
• Stay updated on tax legislation and advise clients on the impact of regulatory changes.  

 Client Relationship Management  

• Act as the primary point of contact for corporate tax clients, managing engagements and building long-term relationships.  
• Develop and present high-quality tax advisory reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.  
• Support clients in corporate tax registration, compliance, and tax return filings.  

 Business Development & Thought Leadership  

• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the firm’s growth by expanding tax service offerings.  
• Participate in industry events, seminars, and forums to enhance market presence and build a network of clients.  
• Develop thought leadership materials, whitepapers, and insights on corporate tax trends in the UAE and globally.  

 Team Leadership & Development  

• Mentor and guide junior tax professionals, providing technical training and career development support.  
• Foster a high-performance culture by promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the tax team.  

 Qualifications & Experience:  

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.  
• Professional Certifications (preferred): CTA, ACCA, CPA, CA, ADIT, or equivalent tax qualification.  
• Experience: 9+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably in a consulting or leading tax advisory firm.  
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE corporate tax, international tax frameworks (OECD, BEPS), and transfer pricing. 

 Preferred Industry Background:  

- Tax advisory firms.  

- Legal and consulting firms specializing in tax advisory.  

- Large multinational corporations with in-house tax teams.
