Job Purpose
Business Banking The segment manages more than 50K customer relationships with total balance sheet under management more than AED 50bn, & revenue pool exceeding AED 1.5Bn. This segment focused approach is critical for next phase of growth as we need to have dedicated action plan at segment level to manage emerging challenges.
The unit is thus created to conceptualize, develop and implement a sustainable customer driven segment management system to maximize the Bank’s business from the non-Individual customers of the Retail Bank. Customer and P&L ownership will rest with the Business Banking segment head while products and channels will be servicing functional needs.

Responsibilities
- Manage customer retention strategies for attrition control
- Manager the segment’s Tail Management program to remove value destroying customers from the portfolio to optimize profitability
- Manage customer migration between various segments to ensure onboarding of the clients in the right segment.
- Work with line manager & segment head for segment budgeting, financial controls & planning.
- Take proactive role in developing incentive structures for the Sales Manager, TL & ROs
- Preparation & execution of reward & recognition program for the team.
- Perform portfolio analysis to identify cross sell opportunities
- Develop and maintain library of dashboards that track products and portfolio indicators in conjunction with CLM
- Own the financial reporting & CIF level reporting for the sub segment & ensure preparation of necessary performance decks (through processing staff) at sub-segment / center level for senior management review.
- Perform financial, products and other analysis as required by the segment in order to support decision making process.
- Work with line manager to conclude tie-ups with govt / semi govt. agencies (ex. Dubai SME / free zones) with focus on enhancing segment presence & increasing revenues.
- Work on allocated IT projects / CR’s for requirement gathering, project monitoring, UAT & implementation.
- Track campaigns/contest to promote the cross sales ratio for various revenue lines including the following:
- NII Assets
- NII Liabilities
- Trade & FX
- Wealth
- CASA Fee
- Monitor and analyze acquisition, portfolio performances and other details regularly
- Work with line manager to implement processes for better trade penetration in the identified ENBD branches.
- Develop training modules as required.
- Identify training requirements of the segment including Business Head, Sales Manager, Team Leaders and RBEs.
- Plan & Implement training calendar for the segment in conjunction with L&D.
- Update knowledge on the new developments / rules & regulations to front-end and back-end team.
- Coordinate and execute project related activities with stakeholders for scoping, testing and implementation
- Education
- Graduate, preferably Business/Finance/Accounting
- Experiences
- Extensive experience in banking experience.
- Experience in project management / portfolio management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well verse with MS office skills
- Ability to handle large quantity of data using MS excel & analytical tools.
